  4. Relieve heartburn. Chew a stick of Wrigley’s Spearmint Gum. The act of chewing gum stimulates the production of saliva, which neutralizes stomach acid and corrects the flow of digestive juices. Spearmint also helps aid digestion.
  5. Temporarily reattach a loose wire under the hood of a car or truck. Chew a stick of Wrigley’s Spearmint Gum until the sugar is gone, stick the well-chewed wad gum on the connections, and then wrap the piece of the aluminum foil (as if it were a piece of tape) around the gum to hold it in place.
  6. Fix eyeglasses. In an emergency, put a small piece of chewed Wrigley's Spearmint Gum in the corner of the lens to hold it in place. In a pinch, you can also use a well-chewed piece of Wrigley’s Spearmint Gum to reattach a pair of eyeglasses broken at the nose bridge.
  7. Improvise caulking compound. If you don't have any spackling or plaster, use a piece of well-chewed Wrigley’s Spearmint Gum to seal holes in walls.
  8. Relieve flatulence. Chewing a stick of Wrigley’s Spearmint Gum helps settle the gases in the stomach—thanks to the oils in the spearmint.
  9. Fix a hem temporarily. Reattach a drooping hem with a dab of chewed Wrigley’s Spearmint Gum.
  10. Retrieve a coin or piece of jewelry that has fallen down a drain. Tie a fishing weight to a long string, chew a piece of Wrigley’s Spearmint Gum briefly, stick it on the bottom of the weight, dangle it down the drain, let it take hold, then pull up.
