  1. Clean ink from hands and vinyl surfaces. Apply Crisco All Vegetable Shortening and wipe clean.
  2. Soothe feet. Mix one tablespoon Crisco All-Vegetable Shortening and one-half tablespoon McCormick Pure Peppermint Extract, and massage the mixture into your feet. The peppermint boosts circulation, stimulating the nervous system, and the shortening moisturizes the skin.
  3. Polish a woodstove. Rub a light coat of Crisco All-Vegetable Shortening on the woodstove and buff with a soft, clean cloth.
  4. Clean sap off hands. A few dabs of the Crisco All-Vegetable Shortening dissolves the adhesive in tree sap.
  5. Clean dirt and grime from the face of a plastic doll. Apply a dab of Crisco All-Vegetable Shortening to the doll's plastic face, and wipe with a soft, clean cloth.
  6. Preserve a wooden cutting board. Rub with Crisco All-Vegetable Shortening over the cutting board, let sit overnight, then remove excess with paper towels.
  7. Moisturize cuticles. Apply a thin coat of Crisco All-Vegetable Shortening to your cuticles.
  8. Polish rubber galoshes. Rub on Crisco All-Vegetable Shortening.
  9. Remove homemade candles from molds easily. Rub a thin coat of Crisco All-Vegetable Shortening on the inside of the candle mold before pouring in the hot wax.
  10. Remove tar from clothing. Scrape off as much tar as possible, place a lump of Crisco All-Vegetable Shortening over the spot, wait three hours, then wash.
