Maybelline® Clear Nail Polish

  1. Stop a run in nylons. Paint the edges of the snag immediately with Maybelline Clear Nail Polish.
  2. Prevent shirt buttons from popping off shirts, jackets, or pants. Dab the center of each button with Maybelline Clear Nail Polish to reinforce the threads so buttons stay on longer.
  3. Laminate prescription labels. Keep prescription labels clear and readable by painting them with Maybelline Clear Nail Polish.
  4. Prevent cut fabric from fraying. Apply a thin coat of Maybelline Clear Nail Polish along seam edges to prevent the ends from unraveling.
  5. Fix a small chip in a window, auto windshield, or wood floor. Fill hole with a few drops of Maybelline Clear Nail Polish, let it dry, then add a few more drops until chip has been filled.
  6. Prevent the knots of small ribbons on lingerie from coming untied. Dab the knots with Maybelline Clear Nail Polish, securing the knots in place.
  7. Thread a sewing needle with ease. Dip the end of the thread in Maybelline Clear Nail Polish. Let dry, then thread.
  8. Repair a damaged stereo speaker cone. Trim down a paper coffee filter to an appropriate size, place it over the hole or tear as a patch, then coat it with Maybelline Clear Nail Polish. The nail polish will make the patch hold strong.
  9. Prevent rust on toilet seat screws. Paint the screws with Maybelline Clear Nail Polish.
  10. Stop the screws in eyeglasses from loosening. Apply a small drop of Maybelline Clear Nail Polish to the threads of the screws before tightening them.

  20. Prevent inexpensive earrings from irritating skin. Paint a protective coating of Maybelline Clear Nail Polish over the earring post and let it dry completely. (Every few weeks clean off the nail polish with Cutex Nail Polish Remover, and apply a new coat of clear nail polish to the post.) The nail polish prevents the metal from touching the skin inside the earling hole.
  21. Tighten loose dresser drawer knobs. Dip the end of the screw in Maybelline Clear Nail Polish and replace the knob in the hole to dry snugly.
  22. Prevent inexpensive jewelry from turning your skin green. Paint the inside of the ring or the back of the bracelet with Maybelline Clear Nail Polish to create a protective barrier.
  23. Keep belt buckles shiny. Paint Maybelline Clear Nail Polish on the buckle, allow to dry, repeat several times.
